Leeds University Pennine Hut located at Selside in the centre of the Three Peaks Area of the Yorkshire Dales. This offers self catering accomodation for up to 24. Accomodation has common room, catering kitchen, drying room, showers,  etc., and bunks in 4 separate rooms. Outside are fantastic views, walks, limestone pavements, etc. There is also another outdoor centre in the Lake District.

Sleningford Mill is on the River Ure in the Yorkshire Dales- a great place to go and experience a river with various levels of water to play on in canoes or kayaks and a good place to stay. Friendly help available at the Go2H2o canoe shop and at the caravan site.

Royal Hill Inn at Edgerley (Melverley), near Oswestry, Shropshire, SY10 8ES - Friendly Pub with camping site next to the River Severn. Good food, nice welcome.

River Allier - lovely riverside camping at Lavoute Chilhac and Prades.
